Former Miss World @ Women's Day Discussion

Miss World 1997 Diana Hayden will be in the spotlight this Saturday as part of the Times of India Film Awards celebrations of “the Spirit and Power” of women, part of their International Women’s Day celebrations which falls on the 8th of March.

Taking place at Richmond’s River Rock Casino Resort, Diana will be joining 5 other successful women – Three from British Columbia and three from India – to take part in a panel discussion folloed by a fashion show, dinner and music.

On those chosen to speak at the evetn TOIFA Project Head Sameer Soni said “Women panelists were selected to represent women achievers from various fields: politics, arts, entertainment and entrepreneurship… they are pioneers, visionaries and women who have followed their dreams… Each one has a story to tell and has made a difference to the world.”

Diana Hayden won the Miss World competition in 1997 at the age of 24, and has since gone on to study acting at the Royal College of Dramatic Art in London. She made her screen debut in 2003 in Khalid Mohamed's Tehzeeb
