Miss Grand International 2013 Press Conference

Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, President of Miss Grand International

The official press conference to announce the celebration of the 1st edition of Miss Grand International was held in Bangkok on October 22nd.

Around 90 beauties will arrive in Thailand on November 3-4 to participate in various activities including trips to Chiang Mai and Pattaya. The big finale will take place at the Beauty Thunderdome in Bangkok on November 19th and will be telecast live through CH7, YouTube and a live broadcast that will reach over 50 countries.

Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, founder and organizer, talked to the media about the concept and realization behind this new beauty pageant.

The official Miss Grand International crown was also presented, made of gold, diamond and emeralds.

There are several special awards and the winner gets USD30,000 in cash, as well as an apartment to live in Bangkok during her year of reign.

The Popular Vote is also open. The winner of the Popular vote will get a prize of USD3000.00. She will be announced during the live telecast.
