Janine, Shamcey, Venus reunite in mag cover

MANILA, Philippines – For the first time, beauty queens Janine Tugonon, Shamcey Supsup and Venus Raj appear together on the cover of a magazine.

The three Miss Universe-Philippines winners wear metallic Burberry Prorsum outfits on the May 2013 cover of the fashion magazine Preview, which referred to them as an “electrifying triple threat.”

They were photographed by lensman BJ Pascual, with styling by Liz Uy.

“Bow down to her excellencies,” Preview said on its Facebook page, referring to Tugonon, Supsup and Raj, who all made it to the Top 5 of the Miss Universe pageants over the past three years.

Tugonon placed first runner-up in the Miss Universe pageant last year, Supsup won third runner-up in 2011, while Raj was named fourth-runner up in 2010.

Several Filipinos took to social networking sites to comment on the new look embraced by the three beauty queens for the fashion magazine.

“Best. Cover. Ever,” said Facebook user Danielle Darwin.

“Gorgeous!” added Facebook user Lana Mcnabb.
